Terms of Use

The account rules, acceptable use, responsibilities, suspension and deletion of accounts and the governing law that apply when you use PDA.

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to your use of the online version of PDA · Project Delivery Assistant (PDA) provided by the project maintainers Hamza Taşbay and Alper Temiz. PDA is open-source software that lets project delivery be managed in a shared workspace with projects, teams, tasks, a calendar and chat.

By creating an account or using PDA you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use PDA. For installations you run on your own infrastructure, the terms of the person who operates that installation apply, not these.

Account rules

You must give correct information when registering, use your account only yourself and keep your password secret. You are responsible for actions taken with your account; if you suspect unauthorised use, change your password and tell us. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

PDA is not directed at children; minors should use it with the knowledge of their legal representative. Do not create an account in someone else's name without their permission.

Acceptable use

When using PDA you agree not to do the following.

  • Share unlawful content, content that infringes the rights of others (copyright, personality, privacy), or content that threatens, harasses, spreads hatred or misleads.
  • Use software, request volume or methods that harm PDA, other users or the infrastructure, or try to get around rate limits, authorisation checks or bot traps.
  • Perform security testing, vulnerability scanning or attempts at unauthorised access without permission. If you find a vulnerability, tell us through the contact form with the category “Bug report” or by e-mail; do not publish details in public places.
  • Create accounts in bulk or by automation, or use the contact form to send unsolicited messages.
  • Upload other people's personal data, passwords or special categories of personal data to PDA unlawfully.

User content and responsibility

You or the rights holder own the content you add to projects, tasks, comments, chat and files. You give PDA permission to use that content to provide the service (storing it and showing it to authorised project members); we claim no right to use it for any other purpose.

You are responsible for the lawfulness of your content and for having the rights needed to share it. Project members and managers manage the content in their projects within their permissions. You can report unlawful content through the contact form.

Availability and no warranty

PDA is free, open-source software under active development. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”; there is no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Features may change without notice, and there may be outages and maintenance.

We recommend keeping your own copy of important data. Export is not yet a feature inside the application; it is provided on request.

Suspension of accounts

If these terms or security are violated, an administrator can disable an account. For a disabled account sessions are closed and sign-in is blocked; no data in the account is deleted and the action can be reversed. Administrator actions are recorded. To object to a decision, use the contact form or the e-mail address.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time on the account screen. The account is anonymised the moment it is deleted and all sessions are closed. If you own a project or an organisation, you must transfer ownership or delete it first; the administrator account cannot delete itself. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Relationship to the open-source licence

PDA's source code is released under the Apache License 2.0; you may use, modify and distribute the code under the terms of that licence. These Terms of Use do not change the licence of the source code; they only govern the use of the online version of PDA. The summary and the full text of the licence are on the License page.

Limitation of liability

Subject to mandatory legal liability, PDA's maintainers cannot be held liable for indirect damage or for loss of data or profit arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Each user is responsible for their actions towards other users and for their content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory provisions and jurisdiction rules of consumer protection law, including those of your country of residence, remain unaffected.

Changes

We update these terms when needed. The current text is published on this page and the “Last updated” date changes; continuing to use PDA after a change means you accept the current terms.

Your cookie choices

PDA uses necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in. You can also allow analytics, which measures how the site is used without identifying you. Analytics is off by default and you can change your choice at any time. Cookie Policy
